Dries Buytaert is the people who build Drupal. He was born in Belgium, November 19th 1978. Drupal built around the year 1998 and 1999. Currently, Drupal has been developed by thousands of existing users and developers around the world. Drupal currently has predictably grown rapidly. Until recently, Drupal Development has entered 6.17 version. But other than that, the Drupal 7 has also been developed at this time until Drupal 7 Alpha 5. There is no certain info about the final release of Drupal 7.
Drupal is a content management system software that is free and open which is distributed under GPL license. Drupal can be downloaded freely and can be freely used, so that we allow each person individually as well as communities to publish, manage, and organize various types of content on the website. Drupal can be used to build:

2. Personal website or blog (using the Web 2.0 design)
3. Social Networking Sites
4. Company Website
5. Multi-Language Website
6. Etc.
Drupal can be used immediately once you finish downloading and can be installed easily. Drupal is written using PHP. Drupal can work on several of Windows Operating System, Linux, FreeBSD, and others that support Apache and IIS web server. Drupal requires a database program such as MySQL and PostgreSQL to store all the data. Although according to some developers say that Drupal is difficult enough for new users, but with many advantages, Drupal is one of the best content management system (CMS).
